Fraudulent Impersonation of Blockchain Intelligence Group
We are aware of numerous unauthorized individuals and companies posing as Blockchain Intelligence Group representatives, complete with counterfeit use of our corporate identity. These sophisticated scams target both our clients and members of the public, putting their assets and security at risk.
As a trusted blockchain analytics software company, we want to be clear: Blockchain Intelligence Group never initiates unsolicited contact offering cryptocurrency tracing or recovery services. If someone approaches you claiming to represent our company with such offers, they are attempting to defraud you. Please do not engage with these scammers and if you have already lost money, please contact your local law enforcement authorities.
Scammers
Illegal Use of Company Logo
This scammer website is using our old company logo and pretending to be our partner. We often see unauthorized use of our logo on websites claiming to offer “crypto recovery services,” further preying on vulnerable people who have already fallen victim to another cryptocurrency scam.
WhatsApp Scammer
This scammer contacted a victim via WhatsApp and even initiated voice calls with the victim. We’ve seen instances where they have even used the names of our legitimate team members.
Misrepresenting on Social Media
This person is misrepresenting their affiliation with our company. In fact, they are not affiliated with us whatsoever. Please be cautious that just because someone claims to work with our company on social media, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they do. If you are ever unsure, please inquire at [email protected].
Email Scam Alert
Scammers are using both our old and new logos, along with unofficial email templates, to solicit our users’ payment information. These fraudulent emails often feature alarming subject lines, such as “Urgent Action Required: Frozen Blockchain Account Recovery Process.” Please be advised that our company will never request sensitive information via email, and sharing such details may lead to unauthorized access to your accounts.
We have also seen email scams where logos for INTERPOL, FINRA and other large organizations have been used alongside ours with the intention of intimidating the victims.
Fake Certification
This is a fake certification certificate imitating our Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator course. It uses an old template, low resolution of image, shows signs of Photoshop manipulation and has incorrect font styles.

How to Identify a Scam
Suspicious Emails or Messages
If you receive unexpected emails or messages claiming to be from us issuing a warning, claiming to help you get your money back, or explore an investment opportunity, this is a red flag that the sender is an impersonator. Carefully scrutinize the sender’s email address and the message content. Look for signs of poor grammar or urgency that scammers often use to pressure their targets.
Fake Social Media Accounts
Verify social media profiles before trusting them. Be wary of accounts that have few followers, recent creation dates, or any unusual activity. Blockchain Intelligence Group team members regularly use LinkedIn, however just because someone may have our company name listed on their profile, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they work for us.
Unsolicited Offers
Be skeptical of unsolicited offers, particularly those that seem too good to be true, such as guaranteed investment returns or exclusive opportunities.
Commitment to Your Security
Blockchain Intelligence Group is committed to ensuring the security and integrity of our services. We are actively working with authorities and implementing advanced security measures to combat these fraudulent activities. Your vigilance and cooperation are crucial in this effort.
