VANCOUVER, BC –  September  18, 2017 – Blockchain Intelligence Group (“BIG”) is pleased to announce that two weeks ago today they hosted in conjunction with their Japanese partner the inaugural Bitcoin Blockchain Conference at the Toshi Center Hotel in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The Conference was the first of its kind and focused on this new age of cryptocurrencies the Blockchain and its use as a medium of exchange.  There were two areas of focus at the event. The first area surrounded law enforcement, cybersecurity, and government regulation. We looked at the tools and the investigative techniques used to peer into the criminal element which helped expose and peel back the layer of anonymity within illegal Bitcoin transactions and the ecosystem. The second area focused on the future uses of cryptocurrencies as it relates to smart contracts and the complexities and evolution of Fintech regulation.  The event allowed a number of panel discussions to take place covering a variety of topics within the ecosystem. Through the event, BIG endeavoured to bring cryptocurrency and Blockchain leaders together to discuss this ever-growing and evolving crypto space globally and within Japan.

Lance Morginn, CEO of BIG stated that “This event was to be one of many that will allow BIG to propel itself to the forefront of the space within Japan and internationally. The ecosystem is growing by leaps and bounds and this is a great venue for like-minded people to come together to discuss the issues that are top of mind. It was a great opportunity to share knowledge and experiences for everyone.”
